What Happens When You Don’t Have Time Or Desire To Socialize?

I remember getting a reply on one of my older blog posts called:

”Be a lone wolf walk your own path and do what you want to do (Mindset)”

And the person said this ”Hey, Adventago great blog post, however, I don’t have time to socialize and that makes me feel empty what should I do?”

Well, here’s my answer to that question…

That Is The Price Of Success You Have To Pay.

If you need that emotional support and validation, chances are you will not make it, why?

Because it is very lonely when you’re pursuing a path, building a business, doing something a little bit different, or going a different path compared to most people.

Even to this very day since I’m still building up my empire, I don’t take a day off, I don’t socialize at all, I just put my head down and work my face off.

I’m paying the price now, while all my friends are socializing and doing other stupid things, even now with COVID-19, I still don’t have the time to “Hang out or chill out”.

That’s not what I do, but that’s what most people do, now it doesn’t mean you have to be a workaholic.

But it does mean at the beginning you have to make choices, because in life everything that you choose has consequences to it.

Life is a give and take, you give up something, to get something, you cannot say “I want to have balance”, forget that rubbish!

How can you say “Oh Adventago, I want to chill out with my friends and still be very successful” unfortunately it doesn’t work like that.

There’s a reason why people are successful and why they need to make those sacrifices.

If you’re not willing then don’t bother, and if you need that emotional support where you feel a little bit empty and you’re looking for that emotional baseline from other people to support you.

Then Forget It.

Don’t expect other people to support you, it is lonely, and this is why someone entrepreneurs are depressed, because they can’t take the heat, pressure, and loneliness.

It is lonely at the top, you can ask any entrepreneur, I 100% guarantee they will tell you the same thing, also it gets lonelier the more successful you get and the higher up the ladder you go.

Why? Because first you don’t have time, and second you don’t want to have very shallow surface-level conversations with people because you feel like other people are dumb or not of your level.

You feel like it’s a waste of time and you have nothing in common, since when you’re focusing on solving bigger problems on this planet, they’re focusing on what Joe Biden or Donald Trump said yesterday.

It’s a different level of conversation, I’m not saying one side is right and the other is wrong, it’s just a different path in life.

If you have what it takes, you need to learn to be alone without being lonely, and you need to learn how to find some new friends.

So, when you do socialize, you’re doing it with people who are growing, and you’re not just wasting your time with.

I think that’s a shift that a lot of entrepreneurs have to make and it’s one of the most difficult things that people have to do.

When they have to get rid of some of their old friends that they have, some of the negative thinkers, energy drainers, naysayers, and haters you have in your life is not an easy thing to do.

Remember This: You Are The Average Of The 5 People You Spend The Most Time With, So Choose Them Wisely, Your Environment Will Always Be Stronger Than Your Will Power.
