What Are YOU “Really” Working For In Life? (Mindset)

Have you ever wondered why rich and successful people who retire sometimes kill themself?

There’s no one size all reason, but for a lot of people it boils down to a sense of purpose that has now vanished.

Here’s an example:

Bill Gates, is one of my inspirations, I have a few photos of his quotes, (Not that I’m stalking him or anything 🤣). But, what I find amazing is, even though he’s done so much he continues to add value to the world.

Can you believe that? The guy is 64 years old and is still working hard, he wakes up at 7 AM and goes to bed at 12 AM consistently, personally I think it’s amazing, that he still has such a huge drive in what he does, for such a long time.

I believe that all us entrepreneurs, will be continuing to build our empire, and have enjoyment in what we do, however, I know some of you are thinking no way Adventago I don’t want to do that!

The only issue with this statement is that eventually, you get bored, trust me, when you’re out of the game and you start to spend most of your time on the beach in Jamaica, or binge-watching Netflix, after a while, it doesn’t fulfill you.

Surely for the first couple of weeks or maybe a month, you feel amazing, but once you start doing the same routine day in and day out you start to ask yourself.

Is this it, what’s next?

I think it’s one of the biggest ironies in life, which is that you can’t find happiness trying to be happy, since happiness is one of those things that you just have, for example, we can’t create abundance but we create limitations.

And, you start to realize that happiness is a very low-level emotion, what you want is meaning, when you have all the money and stuff, you still desire the feeling that you have a sense of purpose.

Finally

Once you reach the goal that you have set for your life, you’re going to slowly get bored, especially if it’s the obvious ones like “I want to be rich”.

This is why after you reach your goal, you shouldn’t drown in your success for too long, but be hungry to go to the next level, which is making a difference in the world.
