Hey Adventago, here, internet marketer and entrepreneur, and in this blog, I’m going to uncover how you can easily and quickly start a website-based business.
I’ve run numerous websites and I’ve been doing this for a while, but I’m going to show you a simple three-step process for starting a website-based business.
I’m going to go over what to do, where to do it, and how you can make money from it, so let’s get into this.
Also, there’s going to be a bonus at the end, where I’ll show you, how you can make multiple streams of income from your website, so stay tuned for that.
You’re going to love the idea of having a website-based business for several reasons.

Let’s get into how to start a website-based business, firstly you need to…
Step 1 Domain
The first step to starting a website-based business is, to register a domain, you can go to different sites such as Bluehost to get this set up.
Step 2 Hosting
The top hosting company I use is down below, once you click on the link below, you’ll look up your website domain and you’ll see if it’s available.
Most websites retail for about ten dollars, usually no higher than fifteen dollars to purchase a website.
After you purchase your website, you’ll usually be offered a bundle, and what you will see is something called web hosting, what is web hosting you ask?
Imagine it’s real estate, your domain name is the real estate, but for the real estate to be worth anything you need to have running water, electricity, plumbing, and (Wi-Fi if you’re living in the twenty first century).
In technical terms, you’re paying an internet company to hold your website for you, and load it on other people’s computers every time somebody visits it.
Cool fact: If you own a computer and you leave it on twenty-four seven, you could host your own website and not have to pay any money, I’ve tried this method, however, it’s a huge technical challenge.
You need to know server-side scripting, programming, and databases, for the average person it doesn’t make sense unless you’re super advanced.
For everyone else, you’ll have to buy hosting, now hosting generally cost’s somewhere around twenty dollars a month, but if you sign up with the top-recommended hosting company called Bluehost.

Then you’ll get a free website, and you’ll get hosting that costs less than four dollars, if you would like to get a website, sign up with Bluehost now.
They’re highly recommended, and there’s a high chance that your favorite companies use them too. 🙂
Before you do that, we’re going to go over what you need to do next, to start a website-based business.
Step 3 Content (The fun part)
The third step in starting a website-based business is putting content on your website, now to put content on your website, I have training where I show you how to set up a website in a few days.
Check this training out, it goes into a lot more detail about how you can put content on your website, and how to set up your website if you use Bluehost.
Some good tips on doing content on your website are putting blog posts, which is simply you writing words but, Matthew Woodward (Who’s a pretty popular blogger.)
Talked about how to create a website-based business, he also gave a few different suggestions, first off, the difference between good content bad content.
Good content is in-depth and provides value, (We’ll talk about this a little bit later, when we get into my pro tips), but simply you want to offer more value on the subject than you see other people doing.
One thing to never do is stuff it with keywords, because you heard that putting a ton of keywords in your article is going to help you, when the reality is, it doesn’t work.
Other things that don’t work are doing very short articles and making them full of links, and having no multimedia, what I suggest you do is just as Matthew Woodward says.
This is to use all three content forms, meaning, text, image, and video, also keep your article up to date if you’re doing a definitive article.
Such as how to save money, or something like that, which is a very broad article, but generally speaking, I don’t think you always need to keep your article up to date if the content doesn’t always change.
keeping your articles or content up to date really only applies to certain content where it goes out of date, but what is definitely good is referencing other sources.
The more third parties you reference in your article, for example, The Daily Wire said this, Prageru said this, Fox News said, or Donald Trump said this.
Doing this helps your article in terms of ranking, because it shows that you did your research.
The third step is the most exciting and that’s monetizing your content, what’s exciting about monetizing your content, is now you’re making 💲💲💲 MONEY! 💲💲💲.
I’m going to show you two ways that you can make money from your website, and also share a third way in a few minutes when we get into the pro tips, the first way to monetize is using banner ads.
Now we see a big banner ad right here.
This is an image minimizing website, but as you can see there are ads for Click Funnels and Sam Ovens, now that’s a great way to make money by putting ads.
And the way you do this is with something called Google AdSense, it’s free to sign up for, and they will give you directions on how to integrate this into your site no matter what type of website you have, Google will be happy to place ads on your site.
And the way it works with Google, is you will get sixty percent and Google will get forty percent of whatever money is made.
If Google sells ten thousand dollars’ worth of ads on your site, you get six thousand they get four thousand.
Pretty good business for Google, they make a lot of money, and you get a lot of money too, it’s a win-win.
Or there are other companies that you can use to put ads on that’ll pay you better shares, but generally speaking, Google has four million companies who place ads on their platform, so, you’re generally going to make a lot more money working with Google than any other provider, because no other provider has as that many advertisers.
The second way I recommend on how you monetize your website is through something called affiliate marketing.
This is what I do for a living, I make thousands of dollars per month through affiliate marketing.
What is affiliate marketing you ask? It’s when you’re advertising somebody else’s company, and, whenever they get a customer or lead, they pay you.
What’s great about affiliate marketing?
if you know your audience (Which you should if you’re reading this blog, there’s no reason not to).

If you know what products people are already buying, you can cut out the middleman, instead of paying forty percent to Google, and keep a hundred percent of the money that you receive from your affiliate marketing.
Rather than pay Google costs to connect you with these companies, you can work directly with the company, rather than working through ad networks.
Almost every single person, online that asks you to click on their link, is using affiliate marketing.
In fact, here’s, a little story my sister and I were having a conversation about affiliate marketing, and she said, “I never click on affiliate links Adventago, I don’t know, it seems like a scam to me”.
And I said “Okay, can I look at your computer?” she said “Okay”, she had like a million browser tabs open.
And I looked on her computer and I said “Sis this website is called Expertreviews.co.uk and she said “Oh I was looking for a new baby monitor for my daughter”
I said, “Okay which one do you like,” she says, “I’m getting that one,” I said again “So you’ve never clicked on the affiliate links?” she said, “No I haven’t that’s an Amazon link.”
I said, “Exactly it’s an affiliate link going to Amazon Expertreviews.co.uk is taking a percentage of whatever you bought,” she said, “No way!” Almost all blogs use affiliate links nowadays, it’s just a better way of making money.
And you can be an affiliate for Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Target, and all sorts of companies, so affiliate marketing is a great place.
Here come the pro tips.
To get the most money out of your website business, I highly recommend doing product reviews, the more products you feature in your blog the better.
I love Bluehost they have super great deals, fast customer service, also quick and secure internet security, but, I’m not sponsored by them.
However, if I was a YouTuber going for brand sponsors, I would hang out with Bluehost all the time and talk about them frequently, maybe even have a logo somewhere.
Also with review products, you make a lot more money, brands will reach out to you and even pay you upfront to review their products.
Companies will even send you free products, and offer you affiliate, or referral deals to review their product.
You can get all sorts of opportunities, but the more you make your website centered around products and selling products, the more products are going to sell, that might sound crazy, stupid, or simple but it’s true.
I hear this a lot from life coaches and marketing gurus, talking about doing what you love, and you’ll make a lot of money.
But if I did what I loved I’d be playing Overwatch, eating apple pie, drifting in fancy cars, and traveling.
But none of that is going to make me any money, so the point is doing what you love doesn’t necessarily make you money, selling products does.

I believe it’s doing what you love that still makes money, I think the phrasing has to be different.
But if you only do what you love, I would be sitting in bed hanging out, so keep that in mind if you want to sell products, and you want to start a business, talk about products.
Reviewing products is one of the best ways to make money with a website business full stop.
The next pro tip is YouTube, we talked about how you need to have all three multimedia types on your website.
Text, images, and video, preferably the video should be your own.
For every post you make have an accompanying video on YouTube, this will make your blog rank higher, also, your YouTube channel can rank, and third off you make money from YouTube.
It’s a third source of income, now YouTube doesn’t make people a lot of money right now, for instance, John Crestani is a YouTuber, and he has about a million views a month.
But he makes about twenty thousand dollars a month, for him that’s not a lot of money, since his main business makes him about five hundred thousand dollars a month, so in the scheme of things.
If you were to compare how much knowledge and time, he puts into this, he gets very little return.
It may sound like a lot to you, but, in comparison to what he does it’s not a lot, however, it has monstrous potential, so YouTube may not be a monster income source right now.
But starting a YouTube channel and growing on YouTube is a huge thing you can do right now.
That’ll help pay off years in the future, because YouTube is always growing, and the future is moving towards video.
The third pro tip I’d give you is to offer extreme value, for example, Jeff Bezos has gotten rich because he has an extreme customer focus in his company, the first principle of everything is customer obsession.
You must be obsessed with the customer, give them what they want, and what Jeff realized very early is that his customers want lower prices and faster shipping.
So, Jeff said okay, this is what we found out from lots of customers, this is what they want, (At first, they thought it was variety, and then they thought it was selection, but really it was low prices and fast shipping.)
Shortly after he delivered it to them, he had gone to extreme lengths to make this happen, I don’t know if you’ve watched the PBS documentary on Amazon but it’s amazing, click here to check it out.

What that documentary goes over are the extreme lengths Jeff Bezos went through to get lower prices.
Cool fact: Factory workers in Amazon don’t walk through aisles, they have robots that bring things in boxes.
This means the Amazon worker would say is “Take a teddy bear from this tray and put it into this box, or take a toothbrush from this and put it into this”.
Jeff Bezos has completely reinvented the American industry.
To give people lower prices is an extreme customer obsession, he’s not just negotiating hard with businesses he is reinventing the warehouse, he is reinventing supply chains to figure out how to give lower prices.
And developing insane technology, he even created his own uber called Amazon flex which is something you can work for as a driver to deliver packages faster, also they’re creating delivery drones to give people packages the same day.

The reason main street America is falling is that you have store owners who aren’t obsessed with their customers, they’re sitting there hoping people walk in, because they put their shop on the main street.
They’re hoping that they can sit in the main store, get a good spot in the town, and they’ll get customers.
Jeff Bezos is extremely customer-obsessed, and just like Jeff Bezos, you can win too if you create a website-based business, and you’re dedicated to offering extreme amounts of value.
Let’s say you’re going to teach beginners how to rock climb, don’t just rehash the same information everybody else gives.
Give tutorials, give equipment recommendations, easy diagrams of what the different terminologies are, and many more.
If this sounds like a long content piece on your website, it probably is, you may be looking at approximately two thousand words, but that’s what a good piece of content is, two thousand to fifteen thousand words.
Give extreme value, give diagrams, make images, shoot videos, go above and beyond, if you go above and beyond with whatever content you’re creating you can do it for a living.
Offer value to people, Google’s algorithm picks it up and YouTube’s algorithm picks up too.
Last but not least, is to get rid of the work that you don’t like, I know I talked about doing what you love, however, I don’t believe in that.
I believe if you do what you love then I’d be sitting down playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
But at the same time, don’t do what you hate, maybe that’s my new phrase “Don’t do what you hate”.
If you hate doing image editing, shooting videos, trying to design your website or you hate going into your blog and always posting things, you can outsource almost everything you want.

I just showed you how to get three sources of income, now go out there and create your website-based business!
You can have Google place ads on your site, you can have affiliate links within your content, and you can have YouTube videos.
You can be making money in three different ways, and if you become obsessed with offering extreme value to people and going above and beyond for others.
You’ll end up having massive financial success and, have a sense of a higher purpose since you can be inspired that you’re making a massive impact in other people’s lives.
