The major problem is that it’s impossible to grow your business and market, unless you have a massive marketing budget, right?
Well, I’m going to debunk that for you now and say, that’s a load of rubbish, you don’t need money to market your business.
And today, I’m going to reveal to you, how you can market your website, even if you’re broke, and can’t spend any money on internet marketing.
The beautiful thing about the web is that social media is free, it doesn’t cost you anything to be on there, the second beautiful thing about the web is you can create content in any form you desire.
It can be videos, text, images, audio, or you can go crazy and do all of them! Creating this type of content and sharing it on social media is a great way to get more traffic.
If you’re trying to market your website and you don’t have any money to spend on advertising here’s what you want to do.
1. Answer Questions On Quora, Reddit And Other Niche Related Forums.
First, go to Quora or Reddit and type in all the questions people within your space may have, you’ll start seeing tons of questions and popular ones that are getting a lot of votes.
Go to those questions and answer them, by helping people out you’ll notice that more people will see who you are, they will become more curious about what you do, which will lead them to your website, and if they like what they see they will purchase.
It’s that simple, if you go to the page of Richa Pathak at SEM Updates, you’ll notice that she’s responded to hundreds of questions, which has led to a tonne of views on her Quora page.
However, if you don’t want to use Quora you can Google for forums in your niche, an example is, if you’re in the investing niche, type into Google “Investing forums.”
Go to them and respond to questions that people have, and in your footer put your website.
Give it a try, it’s a great way to leverage high-ranking websites to generate traffic back to your website, and generate sales for yourself, best of all you don’t have to spend any money to do it.
2. Posting Your Content On Social Media
Did you produce a piece of content? Then post it on social media, this could be Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Quora, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and many more, the possibilities are endless.
Make sure to continually share your content everywhere, you know what I do? I write a blog post on my website, then I post the same content on LinkedIn.
After adding a few paragraphs on LinkedIn, I put a link saying “If you want to read more then click here, which is a great tactic since it makes people go back to my website to read the rest of the article.
I also put a snippet on Twitter since it only allows 280 characters, and that causes people to come back to my site.
Make sure to use this method, sharing your content on social media is a great way to get traffic.
3. Ask Influencers To Give You A Shout Out
I remember my good friend, and fellow funnel hacker called Russell Brunson, talked about this in his new book called Traffic Secrets.
He used this very method to grow Click Funnels to the $360 million worth company it is today, in fact, he even said that he didn’t use paid traffic for years, since this method was super powerful.
It’s called the dream 100, what is the dream 100 you ask? Well, it’s a list that you write down of 100 influencers in your space on different social media platforms.
For example, if you’re in the entrepreneur space you would write down 100 well-known people that have an email list, or if you were in the chiropractor space you would write down 100 people who have a Facebook following.
The great thing about the dream 100 is that you aren’t limited to one platform, just because you’re a dentist doesn’t mean you can only get your dream 100 from Instagram, the possibilities are endless.
I hear a lot of people say how do I create traffic? And I say that’s the wrong question, sure if you want to be an influencer that makes their following from scratch you can do that, but it’s going to take a ton of time.
Or, you could simply tap into other people’s audiences that already have your dream customers.
The reason this method is so strong is that it gives you consistent red-hot leads, and credibility at the same time.
I’ll give you an example, if I randomly knocked on your door and said, “Hey my name is Adventago, I’ve got some really cool pills that you should take to be healthier, would you like to buy one?” What would you probably say? “Hell no!”
But what if it was your best friend, and family members who endorsed the pills on my behalf? I would have a much better chance.
This is what the dream 100 is about, you’re getting well-known, and trusted influencers to elevate your status, rather than running ads to the end of time, trying to convince people yourself.
